Issue regarding IP2Location-Piwik after uploading the db (.BIN file) #9907

Hi friends ,

This is regarding the IP2Location plugin which i downloaded through piwik marketplace.

  1. I followed the instructions as given in this link http://www.ip2location.com/developers/piwik
  2. I am facing the issue after uploading the IP2Location database file (.BIN) from DB3.LITE (free) into /plugins/IP2Location/data.
  3. So before uploading the .BIN file i get this message:

  4. And after uploading the .BIN file i get this message :

  5. I tried using all other databases i.e DB3.LITE, DB5.LITE..which are the latest versions.
    In all the case i am getting the same error message as shown above.

So Please help me to resolve this issue and help me to get the accurate working of this plugin.

This way the plugin developer will get aware of the issue and can likely help you.

hi tsteur ,

As u said , I have posted this issue approximately 1 week before in [(https://github.com/ip2location/ip2location-piwik/issues)] still their's no response.
Can i know what may be the reason for this?

Unfortunately, we cannot really help there. Maybe wait for a few more days and then kindly ask again on the other issue. Developers usually work on these plugins for free in their free time so they might not always have time to reply immediately.
