To understand how a visitor finds you and come back again
it would be very helpful to show all Referrers used by the visitor to enter the website in visitor profile

To not make it look to un-tidy, one can simply use a two step aproach:

There is so many places in Piwik where I hate those "mandatory mouseover"...

no one is talking about mouse hover. "folding" on click
like in vistor profile "show map"

but you like the possibility to see all referrers of a visitor in general?

This is useless for me, way too much trafic to ever use Visitor Log at all. It doesn't mean it's not important for others... I just don't need it.

to make additional great usage of this, an optimization of referrer analysis (segment) and reports
may make lot of sense see #9731

to make the list of all referrers in visitor profile even more usefull,
one can highlight referrers used

  • for very first visit
  • for converting goal (universal & ecommerce)
