Segments could be available for only a specific website or for all websites (global).
When switching from one websites to another, the selected segment is reseted to "all visits" - even when a global segment was selected.
=> Would be much more handy if global segments would behave like the selected period/date already do:
keep the selected segment when switching to another website.

I reckon this is a tricky one as many users would not want that I presume.

For example when only prearchived reports are enabled (and starting archiving via browser is disabled) the same segment would be possibly not prearchived and therefore no data shown. Also it may take a long time to archive the same segment for the other website dynamically and one might not even want to see it.

Maybe we could keep the segment only if the very same segment is defined for the other website as well? But then the behaviour for switching websites might be a bit inconsistent?

hmm "very same element is defined for the other website as well" sorry I didn't get it completely (was a long day..)
Of course segment should only be kept, if the selected segment is defined as global and with this it's available on the other website too, isn't it?

A cloud customer today was asking if this was possible.
They have multiple websites setup in different languages, when changing between the sites the segment resets to 'All Visits' and they would love it if the segment remained in place when changing websites.
