this seems to happen only for the first goal created. when there is already one goal, it redirects to the "Manage goals" page which is fine

Is Goals overview or Manage goals expected?

Thought I quickly implement it but it's not easy. So far it's always reloading the same page because it's not trivial as mentioned. Same JS is used in personal area for manage goals as well and we need to check if we're in Create a goal page and make sure whether Manage goals was not deactivated by another plugin etc. The solution can be done but requires lots of testing and is fragile. Possibly also requires some UI tests.

Not really sure if it's worth it as it is only for first goal anyway. And the behaviour is somehow consistent that you stay on the same page when clicking on a "create a new goal" that you get to add another goal after you created the first one.

Since you identified that it's not trivial, we can postpone this for now.
