in #8936 a new exceptional feature was added: the Awesome Search bar

By pressing f key, you can then type any text. It will search for this text in:

  • the list of all websites
  • the list of all segments (available for the currently selected website)
  • the list of all menus and sub-menus

This is very awesome because it lets you navigate to anywhere in Piwik with the keyboard in only a few key press.

For example if you type f and then my site, your website my site name will be highlighted, and then simply press Enter to load reports for my site name. It works the same with segments or submenus. The keys UP and DOWN can be used to navigate in the search results.

We think you will love this feature, and welcome your feedback to improve the awesome search bar in the future!
