When you drag a widget to the bottom Chrome 2.0.172.33 freezes. I know that this isn't a stable browser so I'm not certain that this is a bug in Piwik but maybe it is worth the effort to investigate.

Anything that causes the browser to freeze/lockup/crash is a browser bug.

On the other hand, if you encounter a slowdown, we can look into the JavaScript code we use before attributing it as a problem with Chrome's V8 JavaScript engine.
