This is an automated uptime monitoring service.

How can that be detected? Does it have an useragent it could be identified with? If so it would be part of DeviceDetector to detect that.

The user agent is:

"Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; www.monitor.us - free monitoring service; http://www.monitor.us)"

I'm new to Piwik, so I thought this should be detected by the BotTracker plugin, then I saw the documentation on excluding user data. Now I learn about the DeviceDetector :)

Piwik will exclude bots using piwik/devicedetector. With BotTracker bots will be tracked separately.
