The goal of this issue is to let user view an evolution graph that plots the sum of all visits and actions and revenue across all websites.

Maybe the Graph could show the sparklines below to follow the same pattern as in other reports.

This improvement makes sense in light of other issues:

👍 it would be nice to show a graph above the table or below similar to Piwik mobile. It should not only show combined but also be able to show different metrics of multiple websites. I would expect to be able to eg click on the number of visits for a certain website and then see the evolution for this on the big graph. I want to be able to select visits of different websites (to compare evolution of a metric such as visits with a different website) and also want to select different metrics by clicking on them like "pageviews". This would give valuable insights and look much nicer. Also, once a metric is displayed in the big graph on the all websites dashboard one can easily get the number of eg visits for previous days by hovering the dots which would show a tooltip.

This improvement is almost a must have for me, ideally in Piwik 3 as it makes the product much better.

Maybe, as a user, I could even hide the table and only show a big graph that gives valuable insights on the all websites dashboard. Via the websites selector one could eg add websites to the graph. The metric selector would allow to select different metrics. This could be alternatively a new widget defined by a new plugin. Ideally, in user preferences, one would be able to select to see this report when logging in.

I imagine the look of an almost full screen evolution graph quite nice and would give nice insights. Ideally, there was also a button to switch the y axis to some kind of exponential view as there might be some websites having only a few requests while others have many.

It would be nice to invest at least a little effort & love into this report :) At least it has his own top menu item so it might be nice to show more than a little table and a few sparklines :)

Ideally we would let users switch visualizations there. Eg HtmlTable, HtmlTable + Graph, or only Graph.

I think it would be ideal if the All Sites "site" (from the sites drop-down) could be used just like any of the individual sites with all the normal report and dashboard options, just not limited to a single site id.

@GitFr33 You can do exactly this with the Roll-Up reporting feature which you can get here: http://plugins.piwik.org/RollUpReporting
