This bug was triggered
Warning: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0 in plugins/ScheduledReports/API.php on line 519

This bug was reproduced on Piwik 2.6.1 and maybe already fixed in 2.8.0 eg. #5300 not sure.

@mattab I looked at the code, do you know if there's a reason file_get_contents isn't used?

@diosmosis I don't think there is a reason, file_get_contents should do the trick

no reason, but if size is indeed equal to zero, this won't solve the issue

… reports generation and hopefully get more information if file size = 0 error reoccurs.

I'm marking as closed though it's not fully closed, but next time the error message will change at least, so we shall re-open a new issue.
