Hi!

I have a (real) usecase with the world map.
It indicates 8 visits for France, but 0 on every part on the country when I'm zooming in.

There is also NaN in the map legend.

Can more or less reproduce it. Should have 113 visitors from France but shows only 10 in the zoomed map. Similar for Germany and other countries.

@tzi which Piwik version are you using? The one from git on master? Or 2.4? Are you maybe using the visitor generator?

Can you check whether it tracks regions at all? Maybe also have a look at #5854

I reproduce this bug on my instance (Don't know why I didn't the first time, certainly a manipulation error).
Every entry have a location_region value null.

Alright. I'm closing this issue as a duplicate for #5854 . As mentioned in the other issue we need to display the number of "unknown" (location_region is null) visitors in the map. See for instance here how to get region information: http://piwik.org/docs/geo-locate/ . See you next week!
