From user: “I installed Piwik in Windows XAMPP server, everything was painless. However, mysqld shows 100% cpu utilization as soon as I tried to view any report. It literally brings the entire server down to its knees. I found something about croning nightly archiving but I couldn’t get the archiv.sh to run as my server is windows and archive.sh is a shell script; neither do I have a cron utility for this.”

We need a “how to setup scheduled task on windows for the nightly archiving process?” faq entry/doc.
