I tried to install piwik on a IIS 5.1 with PHP 5.2.4 and MySQL 5.0.51b.

This fails every time with different errors. I tried to install on Apache, backed up the DB and moved over to a different MySQL with IIS and the installation is working.

So there seems to be a bug in the installation process that is IIS specific :-(.

Can you give me access to a test IIS server on the Internet? I don’t have IIS so I can’t test it myself, but would be happy to fix Piwik to work on IIS if only I can access such a server?

At my office, we’re running the latest stable release of Piwik on the following IIS configurations with no installation issues.

Both are running

PHP 5.2.0
MySQL 5.0.27-community-nt

One is running IIS 5.0 (Windows 2000 Advanced Server) with the phpisapi.dll
One is running IIS 6.0 (Windows 2003) with Microsoft’s FASTCGI using the php cgi

Tested again with latest 0.2.3 code and installation seems working now. THX – whatever have been fixed here.
