When IPv6 is used by a user or visitor, and when Piwik is setup to use Server GeoIP (Apache or Nginx), then Piwik should detect the Geo location information based on the IPv6 address.

This was done in https://github.com/piwik/piwik/pull/316/files and so should work - please create an issue if you find that Geo locating IPv6 via Apache module does not work
