Trac contains dozens of very cool ideas. We do our best to sort the ideas by priority. Sometimes though we do not realize how popular a feature or bug can be.

To allow Piwik users and community to let us know which bugs are important, we could use a simple VOTE mechanism. For example this plugin: http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/VotePlugin

Then we could see which tickets have the most votes and are most popular... (maybe we need to create a trac report for this)

since the number of great feature ideas/proposals and the demand for them are growing more and more - this ticket becomes more and more important every day.

-Not only to choose on which features piwik developer members may work on next
but also to choose the right features to make a "call for sponsor/crowd-funding campaign" like we have very successfully one year ago

Having such a campaign constantly every month would boost the speed of growth of great new features
because of the possibility to buy additional workmanship from external source.

And having more features people like and need you got more piwik users - having more advanced Piwik useres you could motivate more people to crowd fund new features. Having more...

But you only could reach the sponsor goals if you know which are the most required features...
so we need the vote plugin soon!!!

@mat Guess this one can be closed, as we are not using trac anymore? Or do we still want to use some kind of external tool to provide a voting feature?

Tracked @ Github in: isaacs/github#9 but unfortunately they haven't done anything yet
