Please switch to a bug tracker where users can disable email notifications. I once added a comment to bug #2885 and since then I receive an email whenever someone adds a new comment. It seems there is no way to disable this (see bug #3362 and http://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/6173), which is quite annoying. Since I do not want to receive these emails and have no way to disable them, I regard them as SPAM mails.

There really should be a way to disable emails from the bug tracker. As Trac seems unwilling to implement this, maybe Piwik could switch to a different bug tracker (Bugzilla has had this feature for ages, for example).

I completely agree, but would prefer either Gitlab or Gitbucket. Gitlab basically mirrors the functionality of Github and comes with the same awesome issue tracker.
