comments to blog posts doesn't work

tried to comment the latest:
"Piwik 2.0 Development Update!"

  • you send an answer if you use things like "request policy" (a FF addon) and you do not accept to load contents from "internetdefenseleage"

if you accept to load it:
posting a comment

  • there is no thankyou message
  • the answer is not visible and
  • there is also no message that the answer is awaiting moderation or similar
    => you don't know what is happening here
  • if you try it again wordpress blocks it and says "its a double post"

=> it's not user-friendly and
=> there is no way to comment on it !!

Testet with FF and IE.

We do have problems with spam, there are 10,0000 spam comments not caught by askismet (who still caught millionsof spam). I disabled comments for now (as it's too time consuming). I will look again at this issue in few weeks. Leaving ticket opened!

For now we disabled comments on the blog because of spam issues. It would be nice to bring back the feature though!
