This feature will let one PIWIK server comunicate with several DBs, one for each site(or more). This will ensure end client's data security. This has been discussed here [http://forum.piwik.org/read.php?2,102045].
Keywords: Multiple DBs.

on top of security, this feature would also allow Piwik to scale horizontally at the DB level using data sharding

This may also help to get live data for few sites and nearly live data for other. We will be able to take backups and restore earlier versions of DB for individual sites. Will be able to handle database maintenance individually.

Can you give me guidelines as what changes will I need to make to incorporate this feature.
