Admin: Global list of Excluded Host names #3589
Comments
I am interested in that same idea, and i try to get a plugin for that. Regards, |
Hey Thomas. I don't really know much about the script, but all I am looking for is an expansion of the current Global Exclude feature so that you can use not just IP addresses and ranges, but hostnames as well. |
same for me! thomas |
Possibly. I don't personally right now, but others may need this.
Right now just globally, but others may need the latter as well.
I'd need both static IPs (as it is right now) as well as hostnames. |
Thank You. |
Done. Thanks. |
It was also requested in #2645 |
Now there's a plugin for this (currently in alpha-state), see #6046 |
The Global websites settings section includes a feature to enter a Global list of Excluded IPs. This is useful if the IPs are previously known, but it is problematic in situations where one wants to ignore tracking themselves and they know their own hostname as an alias for a dynamic IP address. A solution to consider would be adding a Global list of Excluded Hosts.
