Perhaps in the "plugins" widget for visitors, it would be pretty nice to be able to know how many visitors support the HTML5 video tag, and if they do, which codecs their browser supports.

The idea I'm trying to suggest here is that Piwik could be very useful to clearly "prove to your client" that your website's demographics allow you to free yourself from the horrors of flash video (ie: avoiding a dependency on proprietary solutions like youtube).

Use modernizr and track with a custom variable.

note: if you do manage to make it work please we would love to hear about it and maybe write a FAQ or blog post for this use case, as i'm sure it would interest lots of other people! thx
