I have setting up piwik 1.7.1 (taken from my backup in my PC). After installing it successfully then i update it with version 1.8.2.
After adding my website, i am trying to access it via my piwik mobile 1.8, downloaded from the Google Play.

Here is my detail,
URL: http://piwik.webhostid.com
User: test
Pass: test1234

When i hit the save button, i get the "Failed to parse response" error message. Same message when using anonymous (disable again for now, just for testing), and also when using http://piwik.webhostid.com/index.php, http://webhostid.com/piwik, and http://webhostid.com/piwik/index.php.

But it working fine with http://demo.piwik.org. And my other self hosted piwik server (still in 1.7.1) is working fine to.

Then i try to downgrade again the 1.8.2 with my previous 1.7.1 package, and it is perfectly working with the Piwik Mobile.

Does it only happen with me or not?

Please some advice about this problem, since i want to update all of my piwik server with the latest version and still able to access it via my Piwik Mobile.

Platform: android 2.3.6 GT-S5830
Piwik Mobile: 1.8.0 - 2.1.0 6db8dd3
Piwik (Working): 1.7.1 (don't know with 1.7.2-1.8.1)
Piwik (Not Working): 1.8.2

Thanks..

Best Regards,
Christian Stefanus

Hi Christian,

I added your Piwik installation without any issues (Samsung Galaxy S2, Android 4, latest Piwik Mobile version). Given that it works with Piwik demo installation (Piwik 1.8.2) on your phone it should also work with your installation after upgrading to 1.8.2 . I can only debug this issue if you'll again upgrade to 1.8.2

Greetings Thomas

Hi Thomas,

Sorry for not reply your comment more quickly. Gmail put your notification into the Spam folder, I haven't notice it before.

About this ticket, I don't what really happen actually.
I have re-upgrde my piwik installation just like your request, and now its working with the Piwik Mobile Apps at my SGA.

I don't have any clue about this at all. Maybe I should trying to re-upgrade my installation before posting my ticket.... :D

But thanks for your time Sir, and thank you for your advice about re-upgrade my installation. Now I can try to upgrade all my self hosted Piwik server.

Once again, thank you.

Warmest Regards,
Christian Stefanus.

This ticket can be closed now I think. And for the others who still faced this problem, maybe they can try to downgrade their installation and re-upgrade it again.

Thank you.... :D

You're welcome! Just reopen this ticket if you experience any issues after upgrading all of your Piwik servers.
