Thanks for the submission. Can you see any pattern for when it duplicates abandoned carts and orders, VS when all works as expected?

In your tracking API calls, do you use setIp to set the correct IP? Do you use setForceVisitorId() etc.?

I'm afraid I don't see any obvious pattern.

I tried 1.7 beta but the UI seems totally broken (no widgets, overlapping text) so I had to downgrade back to 1.6.

Yes, I do use setForceVisitorId and setIP - which seem to be working fine for the rest of Piwik. I have tracking_requests_require_authentication set to 0.

I made a temporary alteration to PiwikTracker.php to log the requests being made and will attach an extract of a faulty order.

Thanks for the log, I replayed it locally but unfortunately even when replaying this log, I still cannot reproduce the issue. (see screenshot)

Please try to upgrade to latest beta 1.7 which maybe will improve things, but otherwise I would be interested to hear how regularly it happens, and if you'd be willing to let me access your piwik to look myself?

Piwik 1.7 final has the same bug.
