In Piwik 1.4 (and 1.3), when an user visits a website using his HTC Tattoo (Android 1.6 and default browser), its appear as Mac OS user in the real time widget.

Sorry for my bad english.

AFAIK the HTC Tattoo should be detected properly. Does it allow for User Agent switching/spoofing?

The user-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_5; es-es) AppleWebKit/525.18(KHTML, like Gecko)

Yes, as I feared, it is spoofing the user agent. We can't fix this.

Maybe you could ask HTC to comment on why they feel the need to do this?

I don't think thats a general fault of HTC Tattoo devices.

Last one in that list would also be identified as MacOS

I suspect it's similar to WP7's "desktop" mode, but at least MS doesn't spoof the UA.
