In the Goals > Goal X > Goals by Pages > Page URLs, the report table displayed has a column "Goal X Conversions".

Currently the column doesn't have an inline help.
Instead, it's expected there is an help on hover.

For example here is what the help on hover looks like for the "Goal X conversion rate" column.

Tooltip text

TBC

The portion of conversions attributed to this Page URL, where conversions for this goal are equally shared between all of the unique pages viewed before each conversion. \n
For example: if this page was the only page viewed prior to a conversion, then this page would get 1.0 conversion attributed. Or another example: if this page was viewed along with another page (before a conversion), then this page would get 0.5 conversion. Or another example: if ten pages were viewed before a conversion, then each of these pages would get 0.1 conversion.

@mattab For such issues it might be helpful to maybe define the help text you would expect. A developer might otherwise add a description that might be too technical for a normal user to understand.

@mattab why is this tagged as 5.1.0, this doesn't sound like extremely high value to a large group of users. I think this could be done in 5.5.0 or by the technical writer instead of the dev team. Am I missing something?

@Stan-vw As mentioned in my comment for those issues we need a defined text we should add. So this would indeed be something for the technical writer I guess. Or maybe someone with a deeper understanding of analytics is able to define a text that is useful for the enduser.

There is proposed tooltip in the issue description, maybe it is clear enough to you @Stan-vw @sgiehl ? if not clear, let's work to improve the text. It'll have some good impact to work on this as currently the feature is very cryptic, yet it's so useful, if someone actually explains us what it means.

Have attached a slightly more descriptive imagine for when we get to it:

Regarding the tooltip, since it is attributing conversions in some way, should it name an attribution model? The tooltip explains in length that the conversions are equally distributed across all page URLs, but perhaps it suffices to mention the name of this method rather than explaining it. By comparison, that is what we do in the Multi Attribution section:

should it name an attribution model?

The only challenge is that there is no industry level naming for this kind of attribution (on the website, VS external attribution which has names like linear). Maybe you have some suggestion otherwise we can go with the text in the description (slightly tweaked it)
