For some reason I am seeing the website www.stumbleupon.com as a provider in piwik right along with the major isp's. Clicking on the link does take to the social website.

This shows under Visitors -> Locations and Providers. I do have the GeoIP plug-in installed in case that matters.

Is this correct behavior or is it being detected wrong?

I've attached a csv export of that date.

The Provider is based on a reverse IP lookup (gethostbyaddr) and happens outside of PHP & Piwik.

I looked at the stumbleupon website but didn't find any information on bots/crawlers/spiders. Nor is there any information on whether their toolbar or su.pr (url shortener) perform proxy-like requests.

So, afaict, this is a properly detected visit.
