One of our users at a Digital Media Agency said:

"Filtering by date is really not user friendly to use. This would be THE thing to improve according to my clients. :)"

A user has commented on the week selector in dates:

Question: What is the feature you are missing the most in Matomo and why?
Answer:
date range UI is a bit tricky and not always works fine.
... just a SAMPLE…
May be I am wrong,.. :)
See some incoherencies in dates and periods?

In #11785 a user requested a "today" option to cover the current calendar day.

More feedback from a customer who would like to see a more intuitive date selection method. Multiple users in their org have mentioned this.
