I couldn't find the definition within the glossary of those two dimensions: Visits per visit duration and Visit per number of pages
The documentation issue is the following, if we go on https://demo.matomo.cloud/index.php?module=CoreHome&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday#?period=day&date=yesterday&idSite=1&category=General_Actions&subcategory=VisitorInterest_Engagement
the average visit per visitor in the upper part do not match the table reports which are below.

Could you please document how the calculation is made?

Hi @Chardonneaur - thanks for this. Could you please provide screenshots of the sections you are comparing? I have taken a look and can't see the disparity you are mentioning.

Once I see what you mean perhaps we can update documentation to clarify.

@Chardonneaur The average values in the summary are calculated like a typical average. e.g. summing up all available values and dividing them by the number of records. The detail reports below list the number of visitors that stayed within a certain time frame or visited a certain number of pages.
I'm actually not sure where you would expect the numbers to be the same?
