Another request for this feature. "We have multiple languages and in order to get the total number we need to use regular expression on our reports. When creating custom reports, I can see there is no regex option and there is no include and `exclude 'options."

I see several requests here or in the forum about regex for segment, filter, custom reports, etc. Do you plan to integrate his functionnality ? Others majors web analytics services have it, i think it's necessary to have it in matomo too.

We had another related request, this one a Custom Dimension URL extraction suggestion:

A test function right next to the inputs would be ideal to allow quick feedback loop e.g.:

Maybe it could show a popup with the matched value or simply display it under the input box?

A pop up similar to the Custom Report "Preview Report" feature would be ideal.
