Hi Team,

First of all, this is an awesome project to the opensource community and i really appreciate the hardwork which has gone behind this.

Coming to the issue i am facing, i installed Piwik and i installed ActiveIP2Country plugin. I copied the files to my plugin folder and enabled the plugin. I downloaded the ip-to-country.csv file and uploaded it along with the ActiveIP2Country files and deleted the ip-to-country.dat file hoping it will be regenerated, which is not happening. The csv file is in the correct format which i downloaded from the site.

I'm from india and i hit my internal site (inside my company network - using my internal ip) and its showing the location as US. I modified the csv file in the range of my internal ip and tried whether it would show india but in vain. I found that its not creating the dat file. Also createData() is not being invoked. I dont understand the steps to get this working.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Sorry. I haven't been maintaining this plugin... I'll take a look this evening.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
To give u more insight into what i am trying to achieve: I'm using this plugin so that i can use this to map the internal ips to different office locations inside the enterprise network which will be a real value add to the system. Geo ip plugin wont work as it takes only the internal ips.

It worksforme on trunk. The .dat file is regenerated on the first new visitor if the dat file doesn't exist. You just need to clear your cookies.

In the next version, I'll regenerate the dat file whenever the csv is newer.
