In the settings for my SuperUser, I have the default view to be 'Today'. It still always opens as 'yesterday', and I have to select 'Today' to change it.

What Piwik version are you running?

This should have been fixed in 0.9.9.

I am running 1.0

if you disable anonymous view, and then login?

what about timezone?

@anonymous-matomo-user commented on September 1st 2010

Anonymous View is set to "no access" . I logged out, and then back in. The timezone is set for Kentucky--Louisville. It always shows the previous day, with the topmost entry being somewhere around 19:58:37.

Unable to reproduce. Did you click the "Save" button on the settings screen?

Reopening as we got some info from email (in case it helps reproducing):

So, here's what I want to tell you. About this bug:
I have had exactly the same problem.
I fixed it now "by accident" by choosing another default website
for the master account and saved it.
The confusing was that today was chosen as default.
