The e-commerce overview panel as-is is not as interesting or useful as it could be. While tracking orders and conversion rate is good I think it can easily be made better.

For instance I think we should have a customer panel (like the live visitor log) but for those who ordered or perhaps including the cart abandoners. Then I could easily pull up some visitor profiles on the overview. Ideally it could be a customizable dashboard but not sure on the time commitment on that.

Might do well to also include the products list.

Hi @gillytech thanks for creating this issue. I reckon this issue refs https://github.com/matomo-org/matomo/issues/5908

I suppose you are aware that you can create your own custom dashboard? Is there maybe some functionality missing or some widget besides the visits log for visits who ordered something?

Regarding the visits log you could create a segment which then allows you to only view visitors that ordered something for example.

In the ecommerce overview there should now be also a link to view the visits log for people who purchased something. This is available in the latest version and means you don't need to create a segment.

That is an excellent point and I just actually created a dashboard on the main domain page. I believe for huge complex domains it would be desirable to have the dashboard creation ability in the Ecommerce section, separated from the main dashboard.
