It may be hard to impossible without a big name database etc. and likely is up to the user to achieve this by setting for example

Maybe could offer to exclude all URL parameters, a specific path length (like force Matomo to always only track the first path of a URL path), etc. Maybe this could be even configured per page and support regular expressions etc.

Some things we could automatically anonymise. Eg we know the structure of Woocommerce Order confirmation URLs. Considering these include the Order ID, we could offer to automatically anonymise the order ID. Same would likely apply for many other CMS, shops, ... This could be even a dedicated repository of having regex rules for anonymising URLs (and page titles). This would make things a bit easier.
