IE8 - UI layout problems with CSS #1533
Comments
Attachment: Piwik Website selector and IE8 |
It works for me using IE8 on winxp. what is your exact IE version and OS? |
I cannot confirm this behavior with IE8 & Win7 |
I meant Piwik 8 ;) |
i use ie 8 on vista. |
and piwik 0.8 |
this also happend with 0.7 |
so the problem probably only happens on Vista. I don't have vista so I can't fix/replicate unfortunately. |
worksforme with IE8 on Vista running trunk I believe #1533 and #1534 have the same root cause, so I've closed #1534 as a dupe The symptoms appear to be CSS related ... perhaps a stylesheet not being loaded, or stylesheets loaded in a different order? (AssetManager?) If you set: disable_merged_assets=1 in config/global.ini.php, do you still have the problem? |
Found it what it whas, it is the comp rendering mode for ie7 that was active. When putting it in ie8 render mode de problem disappeard. So it's possible this bug is on ie7. |
IE7 not supported |
Hello mvanlaar, can you give me a hint where to find this option? I do struggle with the same problem. Thanx for your time. Regards Christian |
I've got a problem with the website selector with IE8. The website selector is under the about piwik. And but i don't know if it is by design is shows the website even when not pushed the down arrow. See the screenshot for what i'm talking about
