so the problem probably only happens on Vista. I don't have vista so I can't fix/replicate unfortunately.

worksforme with IE8 on Vista running trunk

I believe #1533 and #1534 have the same root cause, so I've closed #1534 as a dupe

The symptoms appear to be CSS related ... perhaps a stylesheet not being loaded, or stylesheets loaded in a different order? (AssetManager?)

If you set: disable_merged_assets=1 in config/global.ini.php, do you still have the problem?

Found it what it whas, it is the comp rendering mode for ie7 that was active. When putting it in ie8 render mode de problem disappeard.

So it's possible this bug is on ie7.

Hello mvanlaar,

can you give me a hint where to find this option? I do struggle with the same problem. Thanx for your time.

Regards

Christian
