I cannot filter traffic coming from a specific IPv4/IPv6 range. I noticed that unusual traffic was coming from one person from a particular ISP (that is known to give a /48 IPv6 range out to each customer). Being able to search/segment on IP-addresses beginning and ending with specific letters and numbers would help a lot. Filtering by min/max is hard, if not impossible to do for IPv6 or there's no documentation about it.
This would help not just for IPv6, but for IPv4 as well.

For example (Google's DNS address):
2001:4860:4860::8844
-> segment -> begins with: 2001:4860:4860:
8.8.4.4 (Google's IPv4 DNS)
-> segment -> begins with: 8.8.

@rctgamer3 can you please check https://matomo.org/faq/how-to/faq_21018/ ? this explains how to do this, is that maybe clear enough?

It doesn't mention anything regarding IPv6 addresses.
