We would like to increase the visibility of the Piwik translations effort, as many users don't realize that they can help with improving the current translations.

How should we do this?

I added a "About Piwik translations" in the language selector, see attached screenshot. Thoughts?

Perhaps the best time to do this is during the Installation. If user's primary browser lang not in the list, add a systemcheck warning, "Language: %s not yet translated. Please help.", or open a popup, "We hope you enjoy using Piwik. Please help us in translating Piwik to %s."

I like the idea of saying "Your language is not yet translated, please help!". A bit harder than my quick fix, but would definitely talk to users.

Deferring any more complex modification to post 1.0 - if however you have quick fixes that we can apply, please comment and we can easily implement them before 1.0
