I just found out if the language-URL-Parameter is set (?language=en_US, my default language is de_DE) then it only affects segments-area and the timespan-area but not the widgets or the bar on the left

This issue doesn't allow to embed matomo reports in other sites that are multilingual, as makes language parameter useless and only one language can be applied to the reports (the lang the user has configured).
