I think this is another side effect of #708. Do we want to offer a migration script or not?

This is indeed a bug, but I think it's an acceptable one, a bit unfortunate but providing a migration script would be too costly (require to reprocess all previous archives). The current behaviour will not change in the future and is the correct one. Won't fix.
