Hi!

In a major database upgrade, the automatic updater display the query it would run. What happen if I manage to run the query by hand? Do the updater recognize it? Or maybe a checkbox with "I did it already" would help here?

We had a recent problem because, after updating the code, the updater asked to run a query which altered an int colum from signed to unsigned. This can take hours or even not finish, so it would be better to know in advance.

Also a guide on how to bypass the database upgrade check (so piwik can run) would be welcome.
