I would like to change the default sort behavior on the "All Websites" Dashboard. I'd like to sort descending by website name. I know I can click the column header, but is there a way to change the default sort so I don't have to do this over and over again every time I look at the page? Maybe with a cookie or option in preferences? I've seen references on how to change this but they are outdated and no longer apply (eg. https://forum.piwik.org/t/auto-sorting-in-all-websites/4105/4)

I don't think there is any workaround for this. We'd need to implement it, would be useful to have indeed

What may help is in https://github.com/piwik/piwik/blob/2.16.1/plugins/MultiSites/Reports/GetAll.php#L19 to add a new line like $this->defaultSortColumn = 'name_of_metric' but I haven't tested it.
