c: New plugin For features that probably will not be added to Matomo, but could be implemented as plugins.

I think it would be good to have a small beep or similar sound play when browsing the real time map page when a hit to the site is received.

This would be good for small sites where a developer is interested when someone visits, they could leave the tab open and listen out for the sound to alert them when a hit is received.

Of course this could be toggled on or off either by a small setting on the page or in the main settings area.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts!

Thanks for the suggestion!

Maybe once we build #6209 it will be easier to make little plugins that play sounds or do other actions, whenever there is a new visitor/ action / event / goal / order / etc.
