Connected cars are vehicles that connect to the Internet and may also feature the ability to communicate with other vehicles and infrastructure, such as traffic lights. It has been suggested that 50% of cars will be connected in 2020.

Maybe we could leverage the Piwik platform to build a basic Car Usage Analytics feature?

Measure your car with Piwik:

  • Safety alerts
  • Monitor speed, fuel consumption, distance travelled
  • Fleet management
  • History of car location over time
  • etc.
