Zapier is a non open Saas service: Zapier connects the web apps you use to easily move your data and automate tedious tasks. It is a useful tool as it serves as a bridge between dozens of web services.

Maybe we could integrate Zapier and Piwik together? For example....

  • When there is a new goal conversion in Piwik,
  • When there is a new ecommerce conversion,
  • When a new website is added in Piwik,
  • When there is a new page being visited,
  • etc.

Then Zapier could for example:

  • post the new notification from Piwik to Slack, Hipchat, Twitter, etc,
  • create a follow up task in an issue tracker.

What do you think?

A user asked for this today:

I wanted to ask what possibilities there are to link Matomo with the Website Editor DUDA?
Should we do it via a third-party provider such as Zapier?
