While reading an announcement about Google Fit in this article, I got reminded of the great upcoming challenge around health data tracking technology.

There will soon be an abundance of health tracking sensors, watches, phones, and much more coming soon to a (e)shop near you. These sensors will track personal private data, including many health metrics: weight, heart rate, run times, body-building stats.

We will aim to provide, with the open platform Piwik, a way for users to collect and measure the data from all these health related sensors!

If Google Fit (or others) becomes a standard, then a plugin could offer Google Fit Analytics feature by letting anyone import the data from their sensors in this format. The Piwik and Health measurement / Life hacking community could get together and build a plugin for Piwik platform that lets someone track Health metrics.
