it would be great to be able to show the via segment editor filtered results in their
"natural environment" => the list of all visits (e.g. in vistor log, pagetitle...)

this could be possible by not only showing the filtered results but showing all results and highlight the filter results with a different colour.

doing this you may get a very good feeling for you data - even in list view.

If there would be an option for each segment to choose between "filter to" (standard) and "highlight" (new)
you also could do things like filter to the "interesting" things and highlight in this list the "very interesting" things.

a further enhancement would be set up a special colour/grey tone for the results of each highlighted segment...

In the visitor log and eg. in visitor profile we could maybe highlight the visitors that match one or several of the custom segments.

Maybe it could be a setting on the Custom Segment itself "Highlight visitor matching this segment", or also "Choose an icon to use when a visitor matches this segment"

That's a great idea for a plugin I think!
